Design Consultation

The design consultation includes the initial site visit by a member of Behnke’s landscape design team. The designer and homeowner will discuss planting site conditions and planting themes. If the homeowner is interested in a formal design proposal, the designer will take measurements of the site.

Landscape Design

The design consultation is followed by a formal landscape design. The finished design is customized, drawn to scale, and personalized for the client. The client and the designer then discuss the design in a formal presentation.

Installation

Finished landscape designs have many elements. Behnke’s routinely installs walkways, patios, retaining walls, ground covers, perennials, shrubs, trees, and vines.All work is supervised by an experienced Behnke’s crew chief and performed by a Behnke’s-trained installation crew using the highest quality plants and materials. All planting areas are graded as necessary and are prepared with soil amendments and finished with mulch. We guarantee our work, and all plants used are covered by the usual Behnke’s warranty for one (1) year from the time of installation.Note: If you already have a formal design from another firm, Behnke’s can install it upon review. There is no additional charge to the client for using another firm’s design.
